Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) and Cannabidiol (CBD) are both naturally found in the hemp plant. Cannabinoids in the help plant are mostly in the acidic form (e.g. CBDA), and can undergo a molecular change when exposed to enough heat called decarboxylation.

Most products sold are only CBD and not CBDA because conventional purification processes require significant heat which changes the molecular profile of the hemp cannabinoid oil.

Some people take CBD because they need support for specific reasons while others want to enhance their overall well-being. To understand the benefits of CBD, you need to understand what it does in the body.

CBD is a type of compound called a cannabinoid. Cannabinoids are abundant in hemp and work with a series of receptors in your body known as the endocannabinoid system (ECS). Studies show the ECS is involved in a lot of important jobs. These jobs include regulating your anti-inflammatory response, immune system, appetite, mood, anxiety levels, sleep schedule and more. Basically, the ECS helps keep your body in homeostasis.

Natural Spectrum CBDA oil contains all the acidic cannabinoids naturally found in the hemp plant. Depending on the hemp strain, this can include CBDA, CBGA, CBCA, THCA, and THCVA among many others.

Natural Spectrum CBDA Oil maintains the original hemp plant cannabinoid molecular profile along with the terpenes.

Full Spectrum CBD Oil contains a mixture of decarboxylated cannabinoids from the hemp plant, and sometimes the original terpenes.

Broad Spectrum CBD Oil contains a mixture of decarboxylated cannabinoids, with THC removed, and sometimes the original terpenes.

No, neither CBD nor CBDA are psychoactive. The Natural Spectrum CBD Oil does not have psychoactive properties, whether it contains the legal limit of THC, or is THC-Free.

Both Hemp and Marijuana are the same species of plant, cannabis sativa.

The difference between the two is that Hemp has much lower amounts of THC than Marijuana. The legal definition between Hemp and Marijuana is based on the THC amount. A 0.3%THC or less content certifies the plant as Hemp.

Natural Dos only uses Hemp plant cultivated for high CBDA and CBD with low THC content.

When choosing between different products, the main components to assess are:

Strength and potency of dose
The amount of cannabinoids in your product will determine how well it can perform. While each individual is different, we typically recommend between

25mg to 50mg a day of Natural Spectrum CBDA Oil, or
50mg to 100mg a day of conventional full spectrum CBD Oil

A Natural Spectrum CBD Oil with CBDA has greater bioavailability than a conventional full spectrum CBD oil, conferring greater potency to the customer.

Formulation of product
How the cannabinoids are packaged can determine how well CBD/CBDA is absorbed.

-Sublingual (under the tongue) has greater absorbance than direct ingestion.
-Inhalation has better absorption than sublingual or ingestion, but requires heat.
-Topical treatment using cannabinoids should not be compared to the other formulations since its application is used for localized purposes (muscle, joint, skin at applied regions).

No, CBDA itself will not show up on a drug test. CBDA is federally legal in all states for consumption.

We should note that some CBDA products may have trace amounts of THC in them, and you should check the CBDA product CoA. THC levels under 0.3% are legal, and if enough of a CBDA product is consumed, it may show up on a test.

People will often take 1 to 2 CBDA gummies at a time depending on their needs. This will vary depending on the individual, so try 1 CBDA gummy at first and see how you respond.

If you bought Delta 8 or Delta 9 THC + CBDA gummies, we recommend start with either a half or full CBDA gummy depending on if you are used to the Delta 8 or Delta 9 THC effects.

Because CBDA oil has superior absorption to CBD, you can take a lower CBDA dose than CBD. Everyone is a little different, so your individual dose may vary.

A 50mg CBDA dose is equal to around 250mg of CBD.

We typically recommend starting lower, around 20-25mg if you are new to CBDA, and working your way up from there. At Natural Dos we often take between 50mg and 100mg of CBDA per dose.

We recommend 1 day, but if you decide to take more, please separate by 4-5 hours.

People will often take 1 CBDA breath mint at a time depending on their needs. Some people will end up taking multiple CBDA breath mints over a couple hours since they enjoy the relaxing effects and great taste.

If you bought Delta 8 + CBDA breath mints, we recommend to only take 1 at a time unless you are used to delta 8 THC effects. Wait for at least an 1 to 2 hours after taking the first Delta 8 + CBDA breath mint to decide if you should take another, as delta 8 THC can take a while to kick in for some people.

CBDA tinctures are best taken sublingual (under the tongue) for up to 1 minute. This will help maximize absorption.

Since Natural Dos CBDA tinctures are extra concentrated, it is easier to hold a 50mg dose (0.5mL) under the tongue than a larger 1-2mL dose.

CBDA is rapidly absorbed by the body within 15 to 30 minutes depending on the CBDA product and individual.

The effects of CBDA oil can vary depending on what the individual is looking for. If you are looking to relax for the evening or calm the mind, the effects can be quick.

For people using CBDA oil for its anti inflammatory properties, it may take longer since the inflammation process can take a while to resolve even with help.

CBDA products should be stored at room temperature, out of direct sunlight, and preferably in the dark. This is why all our CBDA products come in Amber Glass Vials or Jars.

CBDA oil can slowly convert to CBD if exposed to high heat or direct sunlight for long periods of time.
